In the quiet atmosphere of the cave, broken only by the soft echo of water and distant jungle sounds, the ancient ritual unfolded with copal incense, prayers, and blessings dedicated to the four natural elements.
The underground cenote, with its incredibly clear water and ancient stalactites, created an almost mystical setting.
