Elopement Mayan Ceremony at the cenote Riviera Maya
In the mysterious Yucatecan jungle between Tulum and Playa del Carmen, D and T decided to get married with a Mayan ritual, embracing the magic of a cenote. The couple, originally from Canada, chose the early afternoon to fully enjoy their elopement. The light was wonderful and enchanting.
Our trusted driver picked them up from their hotel in Playa Maroma, and they arrived at the cenote, where we were setting up the scene for their cenote elopement. The shaman lit the copal incense to begin the ancestral ritual, and the magic began… Amid chants and dances, drums and prayers, invocations filled the air as the jungle warmly embraced the couple from Canada.
